I.D.E.A Academy, an accredited state chartered middle school, was experiencing overwhelming success with student enrollment. Its reputation as one of the highest performing charter schools in the state was evident by the over 40% increase in enrollment since the school was founded in 2000. I.D.E.A Academy was awarded Federal Grant money to expand their campus to accommodate the increasing enrollment.

Winston-Salem State University, ranked #1 among Top Public Comprehensive Colleges in the South, decided that the Albert H. Anderson Conference Center located on campus was in need of repair and refurbishment. Campus construction plans called for renovations to The Anderson Center to provide a general meeting area for campus members and the surrounding community, as well as accommodate for several academic programs. The center had to temporarily close even with school in session, and therefore, renovations had to be made quickly and could not disrupt the current academic programs or the Education Department’s daily routine.

Wachusetts Regional School District, the oldest district in the state of Massachusetts, serves five towns. Each town is represented by a unique school board.
