Client Need:
Winston-Salem State University needed additional office and classroom space to temporarily house the school’s staff and students until the Anderson Center renovations were complete. The University needed to find a solution fast before displacing hundreds of students. They turned to a leading supplier of mobile space solutions, Williams Scotsman. The Williams Scotsman Solution:
Within two weeks of the order date, Williams Scotsman delivered an 11,400 sq. ft. complete Redi-Spaceä Solution to the campus and in less than one month, Winston-Salem students and staff occupied the building. Williams Scotsman’s knowledgeable sales team recommended Redi-Space to the University’s architect as a quick and affordable option when temporary space is needed. The solution consisted of a ten-piece Redi-Plex building outfitted with 950 linear feet of Redi-Walls, five modular classrooms, and a toilet trailer, making it the first Redi-Spaceä complex installed in the state of North Carolina. The Redi-Plex building and Redi-Walls created 49 offices for university staff. The exterior was finished with seven aluminum ramps.
