If you are going to have schools, you have to have roads to get the students to school. Roadwork is underway in Polk County, FL, to do just that. When the Lake Marion Creek School opens for classes in the 2007-08 school year, there will be sidewalks and paved roads around the school. In the mean time, the students zoned for the school are being taught in Polk County’s first ever all-modular school.

For the school year 2006-07, the K-8 students will be housed in portable classrooms. The school’s administration will be housed in a permanent building.
